My greatest joy is celebrating smaller-scale sport breeders through art. I am passionate about learning warmblood pedigrees and following the growth and development of my subjects. To date, I have captured generations of specific bloodlines at various breeders in North America, making lifelong friends along the way. The stories of celebration and tribulations of the small breeder are incredibly inspiring. It is my belief that through art, I am able to highlight a unique perspective on the horses they devote their lives to.

Over the years my artistic style has evolved from high realism to colorful expressive gestures. Painterly brushstrokes, subtle movements and unusual angles are recurring themes. I insist on traveling to each subject I paint in person. This helps me fully understand what I am painting and it’s background. It also creates a personal attachment to each artwork I create.

My commissioned and original artworks hang in homes throughout North America and I am proud to have longstanding relationships with my collectors. I started my artistic career over 17 years ago in Ontario, Canada. I relocated with my family to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2013. My studio is currently located in the village of Sellwood, SE Portland Oregon. I LOVE visitors! Alternatively, if you are on the East Coast, occasionally you can see some of my inventory at Equis Art Gallery, in the lovely hamlet of Red Hook, New York.
